*NOTE* May 13, 2009 *NOTE* Hey whats going on WORLD? Its me of course Steve Sap Your #1 Asian Guy! Here goes my honest review for the Acekard 2i for the Nintendo dsi. Man this little cartridge is a life saver.lol. If your sicc and tired of having to buy tons and tons of game that you might not like for your Nintendo dsi then this is for you. You can download games for free from you local torrent sites. For example if you in the United States like I am you should put [NDS] [US] in the search bar. So you get the point just put [NDS] first and then whatever state you stay in next. It so simple to use just drag and drop: games, music, videos and more, yes its that simple. With the software mode Moonshl its so simple to use. Here goes the link for SOFTWARE and THEMES: www.themott.com Pretty much the site is self explanatory. They help you on how to put it on the micro sd card, well it doesnt take a genius to figure it out. Remember like I said its going to take like 10-13 days to reach you, but its worth the wait! Here goes the link to PURCHASE: www.dealextreme.com Checc it out and I hope you enjoyed my review. PEACE & LOVE! Q.UIC C.ASH! PSN: stevesap -Steve Sap Your #1 Asian Guy!
How to set up the Acekard 2i in 7 easy steps: (You must have winrar or winzip installed on your computer to complete this process. You can download winrar for free in you do not have it.) STEP 1: Buy the Acekard 2i and a microsd memory card from any website, I would recommend either www.dealextreme.com (cheap but slow delivery) or www.all4consoles.co.uk (more to pay but UK website and fast delivery) STEP 2: Download the latest software for the Acekard 2i, the lastest version right now is v4.16 which can be downloaded from here: www.acekard.com Once downloaded, extract the files somewhere you can easily find them. You should have 3 files extracted-you do not need the ‘release note’ file so just ignore it, we need the ‘_ak2′ folder and the ‘akmenu4.nds’ file. STEP 3: Insert your microsd card into a USB reader and place into a USB port on your PC/laptop. Format the microsd card to FAT32, choose ‘Quick Format’ and then Start. Once format is complete, open the root folder of the microsd card, which is the first folder which opens when you double click the ‘Removable disk’ icon. STEP 4: Copy and paste the ‘_ak2′ folder and the ‘akmenu4.nds’ file extarcted earlier to the root folder of the microsd card. STEP 5: Create a folder to put you games/ROMS into. Right click your mouse in the root folder of your microsd card and choose ‘New’ and then ‘Folder’. Call the folder ‘Games’. STEP 6: Download some Nintendo DS games/ROMS from a website. Google ‘nds roms’ and choose the first result which leads to a very good site to use. Search for a game/ROM you want and download it, extract the file using winrar/winzip again and copy and paste the game/ROM into the folder ‘Games’ you just created. STEP 7: Safely remove the microsd from your computer/laptop and place into the Acekard 2i until it clicks and fits perfectly into the slot. Put the Acekard 2i into your Nintendo dsi and select it from the menu. Once loaded, choose ‘SD slot’ then choose the folder ‘Games’. Choose which game/ROM you want to play and it should load without any problems.
