I’ve been asked a few times what I think of the PSP Go. As a happy PSP owner, and as someone who has no qualms with digital distribution, I actually don’t have much interest in the Go. It’s far too expensive for what you get: a PSP with a smaller screen and no UMD drive, and a missed opportunity to implement a second analog stick and/or a touch screen. Oh there’s the 16 GB of flash memory, but I can’t fathom where that’s worth the cost of those other features, as well as the $80 premium (over a core PSP-3000). Sony already offers a variety of worthwhile PSP-3000 bundles that come with games, movies, memory sticks, download coupons, etc, for only $200. Considering the PSP-3000 can do everything the Go can do, and technically more, you’re getting much more for less money. It’s a no-brainer in my opinion. I’ll likely pick up the PSP Go in the future, but not until a significant price drop and hopefully some worthwhile bundles. As it stands though, there’s no way I’ll buy a PSP Go.

I still like the psp 1000 the best… sure there was the fact the the early models had their messed up motherboard or something like that, and the edges were a bit too squared, but i just really liked the new fab you know?
it was something new to look at and have lots of hopes for that soon became a reality
i totally agree with you tvandlust. both gamesystems have benefits. i own a 3000 and im pretty happy with it. the psp go has the benefit of blootooth but it doesnt have the umd drive. nice debate

and plus you can buy a 4gb m2 stick.

(4) price, 250 is cheap, we pay 400 here in AUS.if your allready paying a few hundred why not go a tiny bit more. if you add up the memory cards you’ll need to buy and extras to equal the PSPgo you’ll be paying as much if not more anyway/ quit with the bs reasons not to buy it which you have clearly not researched. Go’s have past and present had promotions goin anyway for free games like GT, assassins creed & so on to help compensate. if your not buyin a PSPgo then it doesent effect you.stfu
