    according to most reviews, EA Active needs you to engage in real calorie burning workouts, whereas Wii fit is not intense enough. Active also costs 30 bucks less than Fit, and doesn’t require the board. Also, Wii Fit tells you what your BMI is, which is less effective than Active’s calorie count.

    no, if you have it it works with game but do not need it. I have balance board and honestly it doesn’t add that much to the excercise.
