This video shows a PSP2000 running “Beowulf” video output is via a flatsceen Monitor. As a child I was made to read the book “Beowulf” and was hooked until finished it! Is the psp game any good? Beowulf is generally a hack and slash affair, with variations for intervention. Graphically, the game has good moments and bad moments. The cutscenes are pretty good but the gameplay sections are fairly mediocre. The gaming press really slated the game, with scores of around 3.5/10. This seems a little strong, the game isn’t quite as bad as the score indicates. The gameplay is a bit boring, hacking and slashing can become tedious without to much reward, I have seen much worse PSP titles though. Movie lovers will probably get some satisfaction from the game, other than that it holds nothing new for the hack n slash brigade. It’s difficult to recommend the game but it’s not as awful as some would make you believe. 4.8\10 Rated.

This video shows Tiger Woods 2009 running via a psp slim, with video output through a FS monitor. Quite a few changes have been made with the latest offering by EA games. The gameplay now has the option of analogue swing or two click club swing and putting. The analogue putting really is a major flaw and has gone backwards in my opinion, it really is awful. The return of the old double tapping with a power indicator will be quite welcome to people who enjoy everybody’s golf 2. The graphics are fairly nice, if a tad rough and cranky around the edges in places. Sound is adequate and the sam torrence commentary is fairly good. The number of courses is probably what makes Tiger Woods 2009 a worthy addition to your collection, the choice of courses is enough for most golf fans and even includes St Andrews. 7.5/10 rated -1.5 for dodgy analogue controls.
